Positive Effects of Self Hypnosis

The human mind has a great potential that people tend to overlook, but we all know about the incredible placebo effects and the ways used by certain people to cure us through our mind. One of these methods is self hypnosis, an easy way that can be used by people in their everyday life. We all heard the expression: "putting your mind to it", actually this is what self hypnosis means.

Self hypnosis is a way everybody can use to relax, find confidence, manage stress and reach certain goals. This actually means that you are hypnotizing yourself by imagining that you are already doing the thing that you wanted to do so much. By doing this people can have incredible results because this practice helps them focus their energies and forces towards their goal, so self hypnosis can be compared with day dreaming but a more constructive day dreaming.

There are some steps each of us must follow to create the atmosphere needed for self hypnosis and deep relaxation.

First thing you need to do is to find a comfortable place to lie down, and then start to empty your mind of everything that involves stress like: work, problems, deadlines, bills and all things that are negative. This is the key to your relaxation so before moving on you need to do this. After relaxing your mind star relaxing your body and feel every muscle in your body getting relaxed as you let all the stress go away. After doing that people should mentally project what they want to do: their goals, the way to reach their certain goals and everything that involves this. To build self confidence you need to repeat to yourself messages that are related to your confidence problem: I will manage to...; Every day I am one step closer to ...; My actions will surely lead to.... It might seem childish but it really works. And also keep a positive mood, because as long as you think it will not work, it will not work.

Another self hypnosis method is by listening to tapes with different messages. This works well as the subject makes no effort to talk so the relaxation is complete but the best method of self hypnosis is to project your goals and see yourself succeeding.

Sometimes you might fall asleep, deep relaxation leads to that; you can try listening to relaxation music, white noise (the noise the radio makes), burn incense sticks, or anything that helps relax.

When you what to end your self hypnosis session you open your eyes but don't associate self hypnosis to your everyday actions and put a mental line between them.

Self hypnosis is a great way of relaxation and by thinking about reaching our goals and mentally putting ourselves there we can find solutions for the problems that may appear on the way there

Self hypnosis is a good, free and easy way that, practiced regularly, can help us manage our stress, overcome daily problems and reach our goals.
